Nederland, 2025 - ongoing
A project rooted in the desire to get to know my home country through my own lens. In the Netherlands, known for its close proximity to and interaction with water, almost everyone has a connection to it in one way or another. My fascination with people and their stories has led me here: a project exploring those who work, and often live, on the water.
What seems like a mundane daily activity to those on these ferries, ships, and barges is a fascinating, undiscovered world to me. Through this project, I join people during their daily work on the water, opening their worlds to the rest of the world.
This is an ongoing project, and I am eager to meet more people interested in inviting me into their worlds on the water for a day.
